Caskets are made in a wide variety of styles and materials. They can be made from various types of metals, including lightweight steel, stainless steel, copper or bronze. Many families prefer the natural warmth of woods, such as poplar, maple, or mahogany.

Most cemeteries require that the casket be placed in an outer burial container capable of withstanding the weight and pressures of the earth above and surrounding the outer burial container. Our Merchandise Selection Room provides samples of vaults and other outer burial containers for each family to preview and make their selection of choice.

Memorial Urns are permanent containers for the cremated body. A wide range of styles may be selected including hardwoods, metals, ceramics, pewters, or marbles. Families may choose an earth interment for the cremains or they may be scattered at a site of the family’s choice. Some families prefer to share portions of the cremated body among children or other family members in keepsakes that may be placed in the home. Your personal plans for the final placement of the urn can play an important part in your selection process.

Memorial Plaque

At Chapels of Eden Funeral Home, our families are presented a beautiful memorial plaque to memorialize the memory of their loved one. A photo of the loved one and a beautiful verse is inscribed on the plaque, which displays the date of birth and date of death. The presentation of this memorial plaque is offered at the time of the funeral ceremony and it is a gift from Chapels of Eden Funeral Home.

Memorial Registry Books

A variety of Memorial Registry Books, Service Folders and Acknowledgement Cards are available that can reflect the life and interests of the deceased.

Additional Services

Dove Release

One of the most memorable events at a memorial is a dove release, symbolizing the release of the spirit to the heavens. Speak to one of our funeral directors today about this optional expression of love.

Ballon Release

Another deeply moving tribute is the balloon release. One balloon for every year the loved one lived is released into the heavens. Please ask one of our funeral directors about this option.
